An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading business in their recruitment of a Finance Manager. You will provide advice and guidance to business managers to actively manage financial performance making recommendations for improvement to maximise future performance. This role will report into the Head of Finance and will have 3 direct reports.We are looking for someone who is passionate about process improvement and financial controls, with a background in management or financial accounting you will be required to be a strong leader who appreciates the detail.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager: Providing clear guidance, advice and support on financial management to ensure compliance with policy Reporting and preparing accounting information as required, such as month end reports Providing consistently high quality timely and meaningful information Contribute towards continuous improvement projects Ensuring complete and accurate management and statutory accounting information is recorded and maintained. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders, being a critical friend to influence change and improvement.

About you as the Finance Manager: Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar professional qualification Proven experience of managing financial services in a large, complex organisation. Experience of business partnering with cross functional stakeholders including wider finance teams Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing financial problems and explaining complex financial information in a simplified format to non-financial stakeholders Comprehensive experience of influencing and managing people Excellent negotiation and presentation skills Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems Advanced user of MS Excel and experience of using SAPCompany benefits: 25 days annual leave (rising to a maximum of 30 days) plus public holidays A pension scheme with matching employer contributions Life Assurance Employee Advice Service including counselling Cycle to Work scheme Voluntary health plans Employee discounts Wellbeing support and tools/Employee recognition scheme
