Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician focuses on the mechanical aspects of vacuum deposition systems used in optical coating. This is a hands-on position encompassing aspects of maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, and prevention of malfunctions.
You Will Have the Opportunity to:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair support equipment
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to schedule and updates database upon completion
Maintain and improve electromechanical instruments, equipment, facility/equipment infrastructure, and systems to support all process equipment.
Maintain photolithography equipment such as EVG (spin coaters), chemical lift off equipment, mask aligners ( Suss mask aligners)& Ashers.
Assist in prioritizing production schedules with use of service tickets and priority lists, to maximize appropriate machine uptime
Work in a team and optimize each other's expertise and strengths
Combine experience and knowledge while applying general mechanical rules & theory to form mechanically sound solutions or conclusions.
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum five years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in a similar work environment
Knowledge & experience in maintaining photolithography equipment such as EVG (spin coaters), chemical lift off equipment, mask aligners & Ashers
Thorough knowledge/understanding of specific process & components and ability to communicate with process engineers and technicians
Experience in semiconductor or wafer fab industry
Experience in vacuum coating mechanical maintenance preferred
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with ERP systems, preventative maintenance systems, email systems
