24 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience is required.
3 months of travel experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
This role will require floating to multiple units
COVID vaccination required. This facility does not accept declinations.

Guaranteed Hours: 36
Night, 8 and 12 hr. shifts between 7:00pm - 7:00am, every other weekend rotation, and some holidays. Will work mostly 12 hr. shifts.
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center ONLY.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Will be required to pass Telemetry test upon arrival at UWHC.
All agency travelers must demonstrate competency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms before your orientation begins.
Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
*Will consider candidates without WI or compact license but must apply for a temporary license under the Wisconsin Act10 within 48 hours of offer accepted and provide screenshot of application submitted. Traveler must complete this requirement prior to being cleared to start.
Nurses must live at least 50 miles away from this facility to be considered for the travel pay package above. Unable to submit if nurse lives closer than 50 miles to this facility.
