Vibox is a small business that is looking to recruit a workshop supervisor to join their production team.
An excellent work ethic is required as the atmosphere would be fast paced.
The job role would entail a range of tasks of which the following will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the workshop manager with whatever is needed on a daily basis
- Following internal systems to ensure order deadlines are met
- Monitoring and prioritising orders
- Some production may be needed if business needs require
The ideal candidate would have previous supervising experience, with full capability in using their own initiative required. Prior experience in the IT and computer field is essential as large part of the job will be assisting in problem solving and diagnosing PC faults. This is a high tempo working environment so the successful candidate needs to possess a very good work ethic and must be able to work as a team to ensure a smooth production process.
The most essential part of this role is the capability to relieve the manager of certain tasks, such as assisting workshop staff. The successful applicant must be able to work fully independently and must be able to become an integral part of the team.
The hours would be 42.5 hours per week (Saturdays will be required for this role as the work pattern will be Tuesday to Saturday).
Due to the nature of the role, it would be preferred, although not essential, that the applicant possesses a full driving licence and a vehicle.
Interviews will be conducted remotely via zoom so candidates must ensure they have access to a computer and a webcam.
